Sweet rice is Korea glutinous rice.The consistency of what is commonly called “Sticky” Rice is derives from two kinds of starch in the kernels, namely amylose and amylopectin. A higher amount of the latter increases the sticky texture. Sweet rice can cook for both main dishes or desserts.

Suggested Use: Add 1-2 tbsp of this mix to your usual 1-2 cups of white/brown rice, oats, quinoa, etc. The result will also feel like mixed grain rice or porridge.

  1. Option to soak overnight for quicker and easier cooking and digestion. However, if you run out of time, this step can be skipped, but we highly recommend soaking overnight (esp. if you have weakened digestion).
  2. Rinse the grain mix at least 2-3 times before cooking.
  3. Grain to Water Volume Ratio is 1: 2.5 for rice, and 1:6 for porridge. One serving requires roughly 1/3- 1/2 cup grain.
  4. Cook in a rice cooker or stovetop until all grains are soft.
